Carwash adds U-Haul rental

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. — One carwash decides to take on a different kind of additional profit center.

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. — According to the Daily Herald, Splash Hand Car Wash signed an agreement to become a dealer for U-Haul Company of Illinois and serve the local community’s moving needs.

Splash Hand Car Wash, located at 185 Peterson Rd., will offer an assortment of U-Haul trucks, trailers and towing equipment in addition to support rental items and in-store pickup for box orders, the article continued.

This portion of the carwash will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, but after-hours drop off will be available for customer convenience, the article noted.

Splash Car Wash Owner George Roman said he is proud to team up with the do-it-yourself moving industry leader in order to help meet the needs of Lake County, the article concluded.

Three master detailers to be caretakers for vintage cars at car show

ENCINITAS, Calif. — According to a press release, three Master-certified automotive detailers from San Diego County prepped two vintage cars for a car show.

3D Car Care Master-certified detailer Jose Junco with High Performance Auto Detail in Encinitas/North San Diego County, California, Dr. Beasley Master-certified detailer Aldo Alba of ASAP Auto Detail in Rancho Bernardino/Poway, California, and Gloss-It Master-certified trainer Royer Horton of Got Detail in San Diego were at the Petersen Museum earlier this week.
