LAKEWAY, TX — David Swenson, owner of Arbor Car Wash & Lube Center owner, uses both solar panels and recycled water at his five locations, which is a win-win he says, a Communicty Impact story said.
The Oct. 10 story said Swenson, who has two degrees in agriculture business and agriculture mechanizations, stated in the story, “When you see [Lake Travis] almost turning into a mud puddle, it’s pretty discouraging. And waste of any kind is never good for business.”
Arbor Car Wash is a Clean Water Partner along with the city of Austin and Swenson said his carwashes do not connect to the sewers and instead drain into a field system.
Swenson also donates car care services to churches, schools and other organizations. “I think it helps us become a stronger part of the community,” he said in the story. “And that’s always been important for us.”
