AKRON, Ohio — This month, Professional Carwashing & Detailing (PC&D) will be highlighting chemicals in its series of Carwash Connection videos.

In this week’s video, Associate Publisher – Editorial Rich DiPaolo gives an overview of the types of chemicals used in friction and touchless washes.

DiPaolo says, “According to one expert we recently interviewed, in order to make up for the lack of friction, touchless machines use chemicals that are more alkaline or acidic than friction chemicals.”
