WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The Delta Sonic Car Wash on Ridge Road in West Seneca started its transformation into a holiday light show with the help of lighting specialists on Dec. 10, according to the West Seneca Bee.
The carwash will donate 100 percent of carwash, detailing, oil change, Tim Horton and Brick Oven sales to the Erie County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ “Raise the Roof” campaign Dec. 10-30 from 5-9 p.m., stated the article.
The funds raised will help build a new Erie County SPCA facility on Harlem Road, reported the article, which is scheduled to break ground in spring.
“For the last three years, Delta Sonic featured the light show at the Naperville, Illinois, location and raised more than $60,000 for local charities,” said Kim Canna, director of marketing for Delta Sonic, in the article. “This year, we thought we would bring the show home to Buffalo and help the SPCA build their new home.”
The carwash’s holiday light show features “a collection of animated holiday displays and millions of lights set to music,” continued the article.
Delta Sonic customers can tune in on their cars’ radios, informed the article, and take in the show outside and while going through the wash.
On-site adoptions will also be held by the SPCA on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 5-7 p.m., noted the article.
