DE PERE, Wis. — PDQ Manufacturing Inc. has received approval by 12 auto dealer OEMs for its LaserWash® AutoXpress® and ProTouch® AutoGloss in-bay automatic vehicle wash systems, according to a press release.

The 12 dealers include: Chrysler, Hyundai, Jaguar/Land Rover, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan/Tech-Mate, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen/Audi and Volvo, stated the release.

Extensive evaluations conducted by the dealerships verified that PDQ’s LaserWash AutoXpress and ProTouch AutoGloss meet strict industry performance standards required for OEM approval, reported the release.

The LaserWash AutoXpress features touch-free wash technology for a fast cleaning process with the ability to wash up to 23 vehicles, including large SUVs and trucks, per hour, continued the release.

The ProTouch AutoGloss system is an energy-efficient, three-brush gantry-style system that offers a larger wash envelope as well as next-generation brush control precision, noted the release.

“These important OEM approvals validate the performance and value of PDQ automatic vehicle wash systems to the industry,” said Tony Smith, vice president of sales for PDQ’s auto dealer segment, in the release. “Dealers can now take advantage of PDQ’s innovations for superior cleaning, labor reduction and cost savings.”
