DE PERE, Wis. — PDQ Manufacturing Inc. has made a $5,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Wisconsin, according to a press release.
Through a matching-grant initiative created by the Dover Foundation, the philanthropic arm of PDQ’s parent company Dover Corporation, the amount was matched for a total donation of $10,000, stated the release.
Established in 2011, the Dover Foundation helps support nonprofit organizations, causes and/or projects that benefit the local communities in which its operating companies are located, reported the release.
This is the fourth year PDQ and the Dover Foundation have made a donation to Make-A-Wish of Wisconsin, continued the release, which grants the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.
“Giving back to the local communities in which we operate is very important to PDQ, Dover Corporation and its employees, and we’re extremely pleased to once again support the vital mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said Andrea Brazeau, HR generalist for PDQ Manufacturing, in the release.
