BATON ROUGE, La. — According to www.businessreport.com, Benny’s Car Wash expanded into Denham Spring, Louisiana, with the acquisition of Tropic Car Wash on Sept. 18th.
Justin Alford, CEO of Benny’s Car Wash, said that he and his family have been interested for some time in opening a location in Livingston Parish, so they found it to be a “great opportunity” when a carwash broker approached them about acquiring Tropic Car Wash, the article continued.
Tropic Car Wash has multiple locations in the New Orleans metro area, and the owners wanted to concentrate more on that market, Alford stated.
Alford added that the company has already begun to transition Tropic Car Wash into the brand by adding its “Benny’s touches” on it, the article noted.
Plans for the carwash include additional lighting to be installed over the next few weeks, Benny’s signage to be erected within the next six months and hours of operation to be expanded, the article reported.
The acquisition marks Benny’s eighth location, the article concluded; Benny’s has a ninth carwash under construction and is currently remodeling its Perkins Rd. location.
