Mark VII partners with Wash-n-Shine Car Wash Systems
ARVADA, Colo. — Mark VII Equipment Inc., the North America subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, has partnered with Wash-N-Shine Car Wash Systems to sell and service Mark VII products in Kentucky, eastern Indiana and southwestern Ohio, according to a press release.
Founded in 1999 and based in Louisville, Kentucky, Wash-N-Shine also operates six of its own carwash facilities, the release continued.

Carwash getting revamped for detail services
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Full Service Car Wash is expected to complete its remodeling within three weeks.
Steven Schlender, manager of the carwash, said that due to the carwash planning to offer more detailing services, the building needed to upgrade, and the remodeling began in the summer, the article continued.
New bays are being constructed for engine cleaning, headlight restoration, boat detailing, motorcycle hand washing, odor elimination and seat shampoo and restoration, the article noted.
The building will also have three exit points to maintain safer traffic flow by eliminating bottlenecks, the article added.
The business also has carwashes in Hales Corners, Grafton and West Bend, the article concluded.
Car Wash Express opens in Pocatello
POCATELLO, Idaho — According to the Idaho State Journal, Car Wash Express recently opened its second location.
Owner Matt Cordon has been in the carwash business since 1998, the article stated, and started out by running full service models; after seeing an express model in Spokane, Washington, in 2003, he decided to eventually switch to the new model.
After a few years of securing the funding, in 2013, he opened the first Car Wash Express location, the article noted.
Now, this newest Car Wash Express location was designed to be the quietest and safest light-friction wash possible, the article added, as the brushes are made of lightweight foam, the curtains are a microfiber and soft cloth combination, and the presoaks are a high pH that don’t require much wiping.
The tunnel delivers a wash in just under three minutes, the article noted.
Cardon and his team streamlined the wash process for such efficiency by timing the release of chemicals and water down to the inch as vehicles move along the conveyor belt, the article added.
The carwash is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the summer and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the winter, the article added.
Cardon keeps the business closed on Sundays to give employees time to be with their families, the article stated.
“Some have said I’m crazy for this because Sunday is usually a high-volume day, but if Chick-fil-A can do it, so can we,” Cardon said.
Prices start at $3 for a touch-up wash, which Cardon claimed is ideal for a small car dealer, the article stated, and runs up to $18 for “The Works,” which includes lava bath, bug wash, presoak, undercarriage rinse, triple foam, wheel cleaner, tire brushes, “Bumper Blast,” “Snap Shield,” wheel brightener, high pressure rinse, carnauba wax, paint sealant, spot free rinse and tire shine.
Monthly unlimited passes are also available and range in price from about $20 to $40, the article noted.
The wash offers free vacuums and high pressure compressed air guns that can be used to remove water caught in the mirrors and around drain edges, the article noted.
In its recent free trial week, the business ran 6,100 cars through the wash, the article concluded.
Jacksons Car Wash teams up with Uber
PHOENIX — According to www.azbigmedia.com, Jacksons Car Wash teamed up with Uber to celebrate the ride-sharing app’s fifth anniversary in the Valley of the Sun.
“We want to thank our driver partners who have been with us during the past five years, helping Valley passengers to explore their city,” said Russell Brooks, Uber’s Arizona Senior Operations Manager. “That’s why we’ve teamed up with Jacksons Car Wash to offer a range of vehicle services that our driver partners can enjoy all year long.”
The official anniversary was on Nov. 11th, but from Nov. 11-15, Jacksons Car Wash offered free full service carwashes to all Uber driver partners, who simply needed to show their Uber app to the carwash cashier upon checkout, the article noted.
Uber drivers were also able to receive 30 days of free, unlimited carwashes if they signed up for the monthly unlimited carwash plan during that time, that article added.
As an ongoing tribute, Jacksons will give Uber driver partners 25 percent off detail services, 25 percent off any full service oil change and free window chip repairs all day, any day, the article stated.
