SEATTLE — Brown Bear Car Wash recently donated $10,581 to support the Fred Hutch Climb to Fight Cancer — the result of a one-day fundraising effort, according to a company press release.
On June 30, the Seattle-based, family-owned company donated $1 for every car washed at its 22 tunnel locations, continued the release.
“Brown Bear Car Wash is proud to support the Fred Hutch Climb to Fight Cancer, and we appreciate the support of our customers,” said Victor Odermat, Brown Bear’s founder and CEO. “Private support remains vital for scientists at Fred Hutch as they continue pioneering life-saving research.”
