WICHITA FALLS, TX ― The Stage 2 restrictions, which were issued here on Monday, ban the washing of any vehicle at any place other than a commercial carwash, according to the Times Record News.
The June 7 story said the restrictions are due to low water totals in both Lake Arrowhead and Lake Kickapoo. The water in both lakes is only at 50 percent.
Running any kind of outside watering is banned between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., but at-home or driveway washing is banned altogether and residents are being told to take their vehicles to a commercial carwash.
