LEBANON, Ohio — Trim Parts Holdings Corp. has changed its name to Restoration Parts Groups (RPG) and has purchased SoffSeal, maker of classic car weatherstripping, rubber extrusions and rubber seals, according to the Dayton Business Journal.
RPG CEO Mitch Williams said in the article the acquisition “is a logical extension of the growth shown by our company in the last few months.”
As part of the changes, Ben Bowman was promoted to vice president of supply chain management, and Jason Kellams was hired as vice president of operations, said the article.

The transaction marks the fourth company it has purchased in less than four months, noted the article. Its other acquisitions include The Right Stuff Detailing, Mr. Mustang and First Place Auto Parts.
“The name change is part of a corporate rebranding campaign,” stated the article.
RPG is owned by Dubin Clark & Company Inc. and has about 200 employees, reported the article.
