ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Kwik Trip Inc. plans to develop a carwash, convenience store and fueling station in St. Cloud, according to SCTimes.com.
Kwik Trip applied for a zoning change for the location in late May, the article stated, and the St. Cloud Planning Commission approved the change on June 9.
The proposed expansion will be 225,470 square feet, continued the article, and the next step in the development process is a public hearing, which is scheduled for July 13.
"This is part of our natural expansion," said Hans Zietlow, Kwik Trip's director of real estate, in the article.
In the rezoning request, Kwik Trip representatives reported that the multimillion-dollar investment “would create between 25 and 30 jobs with payroll projected to be $500,000,” noted the article.
