GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — American Gas and Oil (AGO) and CITGO Petroleum Corporation are expanding the CITGO brand to include 27 locations across western Michigan, 14news.com reported.
The two companies will convert 19 locally owned gas stations to feature fresh service options for fuel and convenience store customers, noted the article.
Jason Berris, president of AGO, said his company is optimistic about the partnership with CITGO.
“CITGO [will] offer fair pricing, the convenience of local terminals and a commitment to community involvement,” he said in the article.
The converted locations will hold grand opening events July 21-25. Miss Michigan KT Maviglia will join guests in the celebration. Attendees can receive free gifts and be entered to win a prize, stated the article.
AGO was founded in 1976, and it offers services including gas station, c-store operations, and the distribution and transportation of petroleum products.
