Crew Carwash announces exciting new innovation: ‘Xpress Interior Clean’
INDIANAPOLIS —Crew Carwash is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art facility for an Xpress Interior Clean service, according to a press release.
On Monday, June 4th, Crew Carwash began construction on a new carwash concept in the Central Indiana market, the release continued.
In order to continue to meet the needs of its growing customer base, the release noted, Crew will be adding a new Xpress Interior Clean service at its existing location at Hamilton Town Center, 13425 Tegler Dr. in Noblesville, Indiana.
“Our roots in carwashing began 70 years ago cleaning the inside and outside of vehicles, and we are happy to be able to do this again with an exciting new interior service for our loyal customers of Central Indiana,” said Bill Dahm, CEO of Crew Carwash. “A popular request we hear all of the time from customers is to clean the inside of their vehicles for them. We have found a way to fulfill this request and still deliver on our brand promise of ‘clean, fast and friendly.’”
The Xpress Interior Clean service was created to complement the current Crew business model of speed and convenience, the release noted.
The service is structured to fit within its customers’ busy lifestyles with a team of individuals cleaning the inside of their vehicles on a moving belt conveyor within just eight minutes, the release stated, and it will be done in a separate building from the exterior-only carwash.
Although not a detailing service, Xpress Interior Clean will include vacuuming, floor mats, interior windows, dashboard, doorjambs, console and cup holders, the release stated.
The opening of the new concept is slated for late-Fall 2018, the release added.
Once the test is proven successful, the company plans to strategically add the service to existing and new locations as growth continues, the release concluded.

ISTOBAL reduces plastic use by over 90 percent in chemical product packaging
VALENCIA, Spain — ISTOBAL has reduced plastic use by over 90 percent in chemical product packaging thanks to its Xtract line of super concentrates by ISTOBAL esens®, according to a press release.
This year, World Environment Day underlines the need to beat plastic pollution, and ISTOBAL confirms its commitment to the environment by leading the development of sustainable solutions that minimize the environmental impact of its activity, the release continued.
Its pioneering line of Xtract super concentrates by ISTOBAL esens® — in Doy Pack format — reduces waste, as the concentrated chemical is packed in small packages instead of standard bottles, the release noted.
For each carwash service, a standard 25-liter container generates almost one gram of plastic waste, whereas the one-liter Doy Pack only generates 0.07 grams of plastic, the release added.
Additionally, these formats take 90 percent less room for transport and storage: A one-liter Doy Pack is equivalent to 10 liters of prepared chemical product, which reduces transport costs and CO2 emissions, the release noted.
As part of its environmental focus, all ISTOBAL esens® chemical products are biodegradable, and the company also develops advanced solutions for water treatment and recycling as well as technologies that reduce water and energy use, the release added.
Likewise, the company implements a solid environmental policy in the development of its activities and has the ISO 14001 certificate, the release continued.
The ISTOBAL esens® range of chemical products has been awarded a new Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the release added; on this occasion, the certification has been given to “Glossy Tears” rainwater repellent wax for its sustainability and quality.
The Spanish company has earned this distinguished certification for ISTOBAL esens® products that cover all wash phases, the release stated.
The international certification of the Nordic countries is one of the most important and demanding worldwide and the only ecolabel in Europe for carwash chemicals, certifying that ISTOBAL esens® chemical products comply with the most demanding environmental criteria throughout their life cycle and confirming their effectiveness in carwash processes, the release noted.
ISTOBAL was the first Spanish company in its sector to earn this certification and will continue to expand the range in the future in close collaboration with Lavantia, the ISTOBAL esens® product manufacturer, owned by ISTOBAL, the release concluded.
