TUCSON, Ariz. — Mister Car Wash has unveiled its new headquarters after it renovated a historic building, according to a press release.

The company gave tours of the 25,000-square-foot building to guests including Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, President of SONNY’S Enterprises Paul Fazio and Kris Galashan from Leonard Green & Partners, the private equity firm that acquired Mister Car Wash in August, said the release.

Also in attendance were many Tucson-based employees and members of the building’s design, development and construction team, noted the release.

CEO John Lai welcomed guests during a cocktail reception as he thanked the company’s employees.

“As nice as this building is, Mister Car Wash is not this building, Mister Car Wash is our people,” Lai said in the release.

The new headquarters features ample office and training space, as well as a fitness center and loaner bikes available to associates for short rides to nearby businesses, reported the release. The first session of Mister Car Wash University, a managers-in-training program, launches later this month.

The building’s architecture “incorporates modern elements into a historic building,” stated Rothschild in the release. “I will be bringing many prospective businesses to see what Mister Car Wash has done to create an ideal headquarters.”
