CHICAGO — The Boyd Group Inc. announced the opening of a Gerber Collision & Glass location in Hudson, Ohio, according to a press release.
The collision repair center, acquired April 19, previously operated as Clarke Collision Center, stated the release.
“We are thrilled to be joining the Gerber team,” said John Heater in the release. “We can assure our customers that they will continue to receive the best service and the highest quality of repairs, using the latest innovations in processes and technology that Gerber is known for.”
The city of Hudson is in northeast Ohio approximately 28 miles south of Cleveland and 15 miles north of Akron, reported the release.

John owned and operated the collision center for nine years.”
The Boyd Group is one of the largest operators of nonfranchised collision repair centers in North America, directly and through subsidiaries, in terms of number of locations and sales, continued the release, and the company operates locations in five Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, as well as in 19 U.S. states under the trade name Gerber Collision & Glass.
