TUCSON, Ariz. — Mister Car Wash announced it has expanded its footprint in Houston, Texas, according to a press release.
By acquiring Regency Car Wash on South Main on April 5, stated the release, the carwash chain has added a 30th Houston location to its growing portfolio.
“It’s exciting to reach this store count milestone in Houston, the origin of the Mister Car Wash brand,” said John Lai, president and CEO of Mister Car Wash, in the release. “We’re proud to expand the Mister Car Wash experience to our customers in Houston and to continue building our market presence.”
Mister Car Wash, headquartered in Tucson, employs more than 6,500 team members with nearly 1,200 employees and a regional support center in Houston, reported the release.
“The addition of this location gives Mister Car Wash presence in a high growth area of Houston and has strong upside potential,” said Casey Lindsay, director of acquisitions for Mister Car Wash, in the release.
The new Houston site will feature Mister Car Wash signature products and wash process and will offer customers Unlimited Wash Club plans, continued the release.
With the acquisition of Regency Car Wash, noted the release, Mister Car Wash now operates 165 carwashes, as well as 32 express lubes, throughout 19 states.
