LANGDON, N.D. — Splash-N-Dash Car Wash celebrated its official grand opening in Langdon on Feb. 1, according to the Cavalier County Republican.
The carwash, which is owned and operated by Josh Plummer, has been busy since its launch, stated the article.
The carwash features one of the latest touchless wash models, reported the article.
“I wanted to provide another service in town. [I listened] to everybody in town saying they wanted a touchless carwash,” said Plummer in the article. “I did some research, and [this new touchless model] seemed to be a pretty good fit.”
A customer drives the vehicle into the wash until a sign tells him or her to stop, continued the article, the vehicle then will remain stationary for the duration of the wash cycle and drying process.
Included in the wash services, informed the article, is 3X colored foam, oscillating high pressure, and super sealant which is followed by a flash dry system.
The wash process takes 10 minutes or less to complete, added the article.
“This is the only true touchless, fully automatic carwash in our area,” stated Plummer in the article.
Plummer doesn’t have to be on-site to manage the touchless system, he explained in the article, adding that he can check the wash over his phone and will be sent alerts if any problems occur with the machine.
The carwash, which is typically open 24/7, stated the article, will close down if temperatures fall below 0 degrees Fahrenheit to keep the wash system and bay from freezing and to ensure customer safety.
Prices for wash services range from $8 for a basic wash soap and dry to the “entire package for $15,” noted the article.
