AKRON, Ohio — In this week’s video, Associate Publisher – Editorial Rich DiPaolo explains the differences between how low-pH and high-pH chemicals work to clean a car’s surface.
DiPaolo says, “Presoaks, along with other chemicals, come in low-pH and high-pH variations. High-pH presoak chemicals, for example, are high-alkaline products that have been formulated to remove oily and greasy soils. Low-pH presoaks are considered acidic products that are formulated to remove dirt- and dust-based soils.”
